Borrowed Vintage was formed by Alex and Stuart Aldridge from a love of finding vintage and antique items, and wanting to share the rich history of those pieces with others.

Born and raised in England, Alex started giving vintage items a new home before the term vintage was even coined. Combined with time spent as an interior decorator, she has a keen eye for visual aesthetics, and loves to combine disparate items around a theme to create displays, vignettes and tablescapes. Now living in a century home in rural Ontario, they have created Borrowed Vintage to share their vintage vision with a new audience, looking for a truly personal and unique way to celebrate their event.

Many people think of using vintage items for weddings, but don’t forget all those other important life events and milestones! How better to remember your bridal shower, baby shower, daughter’s sweet sixteen, birthdays, Mother’s Day and many more special moments than with vintage items that have a history and unique character of their own?  We are happy to help corporate clients too, a great way to make a lasting impression!

We are starting with tableware items, but are steadily growing our collection of larger furniture pieces and smaller accessories for creating unique visual memories at your event.
